Safer Areas on Campus for Weather-related Events

UNIVERSITY CENTER 

SAFER AREAS: University Center's Designated Safer Area is the Enrollment Services area and Administrative Services area corridors on the first floor.

BUSINESS TECHNOLOGY CENTER

SAFER AREAS: Business Technology Center's Designated Safer Area is Classrooms 108, 109, 112, 114 and the hallway outside these classrooms on the lower floor.

FINE ARTS BUILDING & AUDITORIUM

SAFER AREAS: Fine Arts Building’s Designated Safer Area is the corridor between the classrooms. Fine Arts Auditorium Building’s Designated Safer Area is the corridor between the classrooms and auditorium and the area known as the scene shop between dressing rooms and the stage.

LIBRARY COMPLEX

SAFER AREAS: Library Complex's Designated Safer Area is the lower level Computer Lab area outside of the faculty offices, the faculty copy room, Academic Initiatives waiting area and corridor.

STUDENT UNION

SAFER AREAS: Student Union building’s Designated Safer Area is the storage and office area.

KIRK BUILDING

SAFER AREAS: Thurston S. KIRK Building’s Designated Safer Area is classrooms111, 123, 132, 135, lab 124 and restrooms.

TECH I Building

SAFER AREAS: Technology I  Automotive Service & Welding Building’s Designated Safer Area is the classrooms.

TECH II Building

SAFER AREAS: Technology II Petroleum & Air Conditioning, Heating, and Refrigeration Repair Technology Building’s Designated Safer Area is the classrooms inside the Technology II Building.

TECH III Building

SAFER AREAS: Technology III Automotive Collision Repair Building’s Designated Safer Area is the classroom.

SCIENCE BUILDING

SAFER AREAS: Science Building’s Designated Safer Area is classroom103, corridor between Lab 104 & Classroom 103, corridor outside offices 106, 107 & 108, corridor outside classrooms 109 &110 and classrooms 109 & 110.

EARLE LOVE CHILD STUDY CENTER

SAFER AREAS: Earle Love Child Study Center's Designated Safer Area is the safe room.

HEALTH & FITNESS BUILDING

SAFER AREAS: Health & Fitness Building’s Designated Safer Area is the dressing area of the shower rooms.

UNIVERSITY BOOKSTORE

SAFER AREAS: University Bookstore Building’s Designated Safer Area is the handicap restroom and the clothing/storage closet.

PHYSICAL PLANT BUILDING

SAFER AREAS: Plant Operation Building’s Designated Safer Area is the Maintenance Supervisor’s Office (Farrell Moore’s office).

COMMUNITY EDUCATION CENTER

SAFER AREAS: Community Education Center’s Designated Safer Area is the conference room, restrooms, corridor in front of restrooms and short corridor to side exit.
