Home Current StudentTransfer Services

Students planning to transfer to a four-year institution can get assistance with the transfer process by visiting Academic Advising and Career Services.  An academic advisor can help guide students through the steps to complete prior to transferring including: contacting a transfer representative, starting the admissions process, and requesting necessary documents from UACCM.

As a transfer student, it is important to plan early for your transfer.  Students can begin by researching schools you may possibly transfer to and by examining the plans of study for your major there.  It is recommended that students begin the process prior to completing 30 credit hours.  Students should refer to the Preparing for Transfer guide and follow the Transfer Checklist to ensure they complete all the necessary steps to transfer.

SPECIAL EVENTS

Every spring term, UACCM hosts a transfer fair. Representatives from most of the 4-year colleges and universities in the state are present. The transfer fair provides an opportunity for students to meet with a transfer representative and inquire about transferring.

The University of Arkansas at Fayetteville offers an Arkansas Transfer Achievement Scholarship program that reduces tuition rates for students who graduate from UACCM with an Associate of Arts or Associate of Science degree. This scholarship allows qualified associate degree graduates to transfer to the University of Arkansas and pursue a bachelor’s degree, while continuing to pay the same basic credit hour tuition they paid at UACCM.
