UACCM provides Adult Education instruction in Conway, Faulkner, Perry, and Van Buren Counties. Classes are designed to help people improve their skills in English, math, and reading. Our program provides GED® instruction, basic skills refresher courses for students about to enter college, and training for people who need to develop their basic skills for the workplace. 

Classes and testing are offered for FREE and textbooks are available for classroom use. A distance learning program is available for students that wish to study at home.

Every year our Adult Education program helps open the door to a better future for hundreds of local residents. Regardless of the reason you didn’t get your high school diploma, you can begin today on the path to a more capable you. We will work with you at a comfortable pace on a flexible schedule.

Students who complete their GED® will receive a tuition waiver scholarship for a 3-hour college class at UACCM. This scholarship provides a great chance to continue your educational journey into higher education.

Students who score 640 or above on their GED® exams are eligible for a $1,000 tuition waiver to UACCM which is renewable for up to three consecutive semesters.

The scholarship must be utilized within a year of the student’s GED® test date.

What is WAGE™?

The Arkansas Workforce Alliance for Growth in the Economy (WAGE™) was developed by the Arkansas Department of Career Education, Adult Education Division.

How does WAGE™ work?

WAGE™ is business and industry driven. Local business and industry partners give input into unique curriculum needed for the local job market. 

Participation in the WAGE™ Job Readiness program is free and part of the adult education services provided by UACCM.
