Call For Support

For 50 years, UACCM has been providing a quality, affordable education and producing a highly qualified workforce for our six-county service area in central Arkansas. From our inception as Petit Jean Vocational Technical School to joining forces with the University of Arkansas System as the University of Arkansas Community College at Morrilton, we have provided a valuable service to our community. Our graduates have left our institution and returned to their respective communities to establish themselves as community leaders, business owners, teachers, technicians, nurses and volunteers.

As UACCM hits the half-century mark, so do many of our facilities. Our technical buildings that are now 50 years old are becoming more challenging to maintain, and the 1963 space cannot accommodate today’s technology. These buildings have aged to the point that it would require a significant investment to undergo major renovations, and it has become more practical to construct new facilities.
We are looking forward to the next 50 years and are reaching out to ask the communities we serve to help us achieve our vision for UACCM. The GIVE MEANING campaign is your opportunity to be a part of an important economic development effort for our area. With your help, we will give meaning to future generations.

As the son of an auto mechanic, I understand the value of a technical education. One of my proudest moments was being able to make my gift to this campaign in memory of my father. I invite you to join me in bringing new opportunities in technical and vocational education to UACCM.
