The Advising Center provides transfer support for students who are exploring transfer options or working to complete requirements before transferring to another institution.
Our transfer services include:
- Helping students identify transfer programs and four-year institutions that match their academic and career goals
- Reviewing degree plans to help students choose UACCM courses that support transfer goals
- Explaining transfer pathways, course equivalencies, and general education requirements
- Assisting students with transfer planning timelines and next steps
- Connecting students with transfer representatives and campus visit opportunities
- Helping students understand application, transcript, scholarship, and admission requirements
- Referring students to appropriate departments for financial aid, admissions, or records questions
UACCM Transfer Partnerships
UACCM is committed to helping students successfully transfer and continue their education after graduation. Through partnerships with regional colleges and universities, students can follow established transfer pathways designed to help them stay on track toward a bachelor’s degree. Many of these partnerships include 2+2 degree plans that outline how courses completed at UACCM apply directly toward specific university programs.
UACCM also partners with University of Central Arkansas through the Bear Partners program, which helps students experience a smoother transition to UCA while completing coursework at UACCM. Students in the program may have access to transfer resources, advising support, campus engagement opportunities, and guidance designed to support successful transfer planning.
In addition, students who complete an Associate of Arts in General Education or an Associate of Science in Business at UACCM may qualify for the Transfer Achievement Scholarship through University of Arkansas. Eligible students can transfer to the University of Arkansas and pay UACCM’s tuition rate, creating an affordable pathway toward completing a bachelor’s degree.
Start Planning Early
Students are encouraged to begin transfer planning as early as possible. Transfer requirements can vary by institution, major, and catalog year, so meeting with an advisor early can help students avoid taking unnecessary courses and stay on track toward their goals. If you plan to transfer, when meeting with your advisor, be sure to be prepared to discuss:
- Your intended transfer institution
- Your intended major or career goal
- Any transfer guides, degree plans, or course requirements you have found
- Questions about deadlines, applications, scholarships, or course transferability

While UACCM advisors can help students research and understand transfer options, final decisions about course transferability and degree applicability are made by the receiving transfer institution. Students should stay in contact with their intended transfer school to confirm requirements.
