Students planning to transfer to a four-year institution can get assistance with the transfer process by visiting with an academic advisor in the Student Success Center. Academic advisors help students get connected to a transfer representative from the target institution, as well as provide guidance for students through the transfer process: applying for admissions, reviewing scholarship opportunities, and requesting necessary documents from UACCM.
As a transfer student, it is important to plan early for your transfer. Students can begin the process by researching your college options and reviewing the degree plan for your intended plan of study. It is recommended that students begin the process prior to completing 30 credit hours. Students should refer to the Preparing for Transfer guide and follow the Transfer Checklist to ensure they complete all the necessary steps to transfer.Special Events
Every Spring, UACCM hosts a transfer fair. Representatives from most of the 4-year colleges and universities in the state are present. The transfer fair provides an opportunity for students to meet with a transfer representative and inquire about transferring.
